The Jewish Federation is having a Walk for Israel community event on Sunday, April 13^th .  The event will begin with registration at 12:00 noon and the walk will begin at 1:00 p.m.  The walk is approximately 2 ½ miles and will take place on the Vineyards Boulevard.   This event is NOT a fundraiser, but is a community event to show our support for Israel.  We hope to have 2000 walkers at the event and we want families and children to participate in the walk.  We also want a diversity of people to come.  Please tell your friends about the event and watch for publicity in the Naples Daily News and the Federation newsletter.  All walkers will receive a tee-shirt and there will be fun activities for children and families in the Vineyards Park at the conclusion of the walk. 

I am on the committee and have agreed to help find outstanding volunteers to assist on the day of the event.  We need volunteers who would help set up the event the day of the event (chairs, tables, etc.), work the registration tables, be stationed along the walk-route for safety, run a snow cone machine or popcorn machine (training will be provided) and various other needs that might be required the day of the event.
